Delicious Treats in Croatia

Best Pasta Ever!

Looking out over the mountains on our first day in Croatia, I had the best pasta ever! It was a creamy, salmon pasta with peas. Lucy says that she loved it too! Mom says she’ll learn to make it when we go home.

Risotto

Risotto is basically spiced up rice but usually has a creamy sauce. Sometimes it has a protein like shrimp and steak. I enjoyed having risotto in Croatia with my family. I suggest that you have risotto in croatia too.

Gelato

My family and I love gelato, especially on a HOT day (of which there are a lot of those in Croatia). Thankfully, there were gelato shops everywhere, and we loved all of the choices we made. These are some of are favorites lemon pie, laffy-taffy banana, chocolate and white chocolate-raspberry. We would usually at least get one per day. I hope you like gelato as much as we do!
